Un garc ¸on de huit ans est adresse ´ en milieu hospi-talier par un pe ´dodontiste
pour avis diagnostic et traitement e ´ventuel a ` la suite d’une de ´couverte
radiographique fortuite sur l’orthopantomogramme (OPT)d’une image radio-claire 
localise ´ea ` l’angle mandibulairegauche (?g. 1).
L’anamne `se est sans particularite ´ : pas d’ante ´ce ´dent me ´dical ni chirurgical 
chez cet enfant en bonne sante ´ apparente.
Aucune notion de traumatisme ni d’e ´pisode de tume ´faction mandibulaire
ou late ´rocervicale ne sont relate ´s. L’examen clinique exobuccal 
est strictement normal (aucune de ´forma-
